Oh yes, it's a foggy San Francisco summer night. I've lived here for how long? Almost 14 years, but I still have Southern California expectations in my heart. You know, a "real" summer. Which appeared tonight not out the window, but on the plate. I'll take what I can get.

basic pizza recipe + tomato sauce + mozzarella & goat cheeses + ribbons* of zucchini (or any other summer squash) + red pepper flakes. bake. garnish with lots of fresh basil and parmesan cheese.
*use your carrot peeler.
