I want to know the recipe is good, so that I know it was just me if it turns out bad.Desi McKinnonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14482197751684047208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3625204435352471415.post-12981439299776418852010-05-14T22:23:04.200-07:002010-05-14T22:23:04.200-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.Desi McKinnonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14482197751684047208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3625204435352471415.post-84080076143263120882010-05-13T07:09:50.819-07:002010-05-13T07:09:50.819-07:00This looks delicious. For some reason, I don't like them straight out of the package, but maybe I'll have to try this recipe and see if it gets me over my weird prejudice.Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10552176128720300857noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3625204435352471415.post-23803483102676231652010-05-12T09:44:33.624-07:002010-05-12T09:44:33.624-07:00LoA: No, I haven't tried GF yet -- sorry about...LoA: No, I haven't tried GF yet -- sorry about the migraines, that's seriously rough. I haven't done much experimenting with tweaking/subbing flours with much of our baking. Baking is still quite mysterious to me.blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18186908799064586468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3625204435352471415.post-58959432264363267812010-05-12T09:27:28.561-07:002010-05-12T09:27:28.561-07:00I love anchovies and sardines. I miss the keys they used to come with.

Bittman is always inspirational. Give me a funny, grumpy man any day of the week.

Have you made any gluten free pizza crust? Josh (my husband) gets crazy migraines so we have been laying off some of his triggers and it seems to be helping.Desi McKinnonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14482197751684047208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3625204435352471415.post-72617884445821791002010-05-07T12:04:39.536-07:002010-05-07T12:04:39.536-07:00Hi Elenor, Yeah, sardines! They're not as salty as anchovies, and can be combined with lemon, capers etc and put on toast. Yum. MB also inspired me to start eating more sardines (way more affordable than salmon for the omega-3s) -- his "pantry pasta" looks perfect to me.blakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18186908799064586468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3625204435352471415.post-80148162364649218362010-05-07T08:33:26.411-07:002010-05-07T08:33:26.411-07:00Doubtful I am an anchovie fan. Are their flavors and usage similar?Elenornoreply@blogger.com
